Ethical Will Writing Workshops & Classes

Participants will learn about the tradition of passing on values, beliefs, life lessons and messages of gratitude and hope to loved ones, the community or the next generation through a written ethical will or legacy letter. Don’t say it’s the
beautiful I praise.
I praise the human,
gutted and rising.

Spiritual Autobiography Workshops

This lifewriting workshop offers guidance and a supportive environment for reviewing, deepening and expressing the spiritual and religious experiences, insights and intentions of your life thus far. Emphasis is on the process of discovery through preparatory exercises, expressive writing and group sharing.

Writing for Healing Workshops

Transitions are often initiated by unexpected events that shake up identity and the stories we live by. Whether the event is illness, divorce or other life challenge, writing your stories with guidance in a safe, supportive milieu can lead to many benefits, including: a broadened perspective; integration of the event into the larger life narrative; an enhanced sense of wholeness, well-being and hope; and a revised life story. Large bodies of research and recent advances in neuroscience show that writing about life experiences can create new neural pathways and positively affect the immune system. You can’t change the past, but changing how you understand it can support the healing process.
